Romance. Candles. Fleetwood Mac. Blackberry Brandy. Other family. Most thoughtful gifts. Yummy food. And a lonely drive back up north.

Christmas Day can be summed up as follows:

Mom and me crying at my Nikon D40. Things that smell good. Sister. Family's house. Billy's most thoughtful presents; books to look at, movies to watch, scrabble to play!

I will be leaving this cold, cold state with William and my D40 in tow in 7 days. Hello New Orleans! Hello Grand Canyon! Hello San Fran!
